Then, until the county officials acknowledge that the cities need them to cooperate, withhold Auburn’s share of its tax payment.
Yes, there would be a lot of legal wrangling, but haven’t we learned from Kim Davis? Do what you feel is right. There’s little to no repercussion because you are the government.
Maybe Auburn needs an appointee from the City Council that would let the county commissioners know where the bear does his business.
