The Friends of the Orono Public Library will be holding a Free Fall Arts event at the library on November 7 from 10-2 p.m. offering fun for all ages.
Maine Author & Illustrator Russ Cox will hold an interactive workshop on his latest book, Faraway Friends from 10:30 a.m.-noon and zrtist Jim Lagrasse will teach a free watercolors class from 1-2 p.m. Supplies and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Orono Public Library.
Local artisans will also be selling their wares with diverse offerings such as clothing and jewelry, hand-spun yarn, original art, wood crafts and more. Support local craftspeople and get your holiday shopping done early with unique handmade gifts.
The Friends will also be holding our final booksale of the year with a huge collection of new and gently used books. Add to your home library with paperbacks at only 50 cents and hardcovers and DVDs for only $1. All proceeds support library programming.
