1937 – 2015
FARMINGTON — Harriett B. Mayo, 78, of Farmington passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Sandy River Nursing Home in Farmington.
She was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Jay, a daughter of Robert N. and Agnes Masterman Brackett.
She was raised and educated in the Jay/Livermore area, graduating from Jay High School in 1955.
Harriett married Douglas Mayo, and they traveled and lived in Hawaii. They moved to New Jersey, until he left the U.S. Army. She returned to the Farmington area in 1996, where she lived out her life.
She enjoyed watching her soaps and the New England Patriots.
She is predeceased by parents, Robert and Agnes Brackett; and two brothers, Russell and Arthur Brackett.
She is survived by four brothers, Robert of Monmouth, Richard of Auburn, Malcolm of Winthrop and Clifford of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
