AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will host an evening of Bunco at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Bunco can be a lot of fun and easy to learn. The afternoon will begin with instruction and practice before the real playing begins.
This event will take place at the historic Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St., and is open to the public. Members each pay a $5 donation at the door and non-members $10 each. Reservations are required as seating is limited.
Light snacks and prizes will be provided. A used book sale will also take place during Bunco as well as early raffle sales for the upcoming Winterberry Fair.
All donations help WLU maintain the historic Foss Mansion as well as give scholarships to local students.
Organized in 1892, the Woman’s Literary Union is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to further the intellectual, cultural and educational advancement of its members and the community and preserve the nationally registered Foss Mansion.
