NEWRY — The Board of Selectmen will continue discussion on whether or not to add more representation on the Mountain Explorer Committee at their Monday, Nov. 2 meeting.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the Newry Town Office.

At the board’s Oct. 20 meeting, Sandra Buchanan of Western Maine Transportation Services met with selectmen to ask if the town wanted more representation on the Mountain Explorer Committee.

The Mountain Explorer is a free public-transit program between Bethel and Newry that takes people to Sunday River Ski Resort, as well as  and restaurants.

In other business, a public hearing will be held at 5:10 p.m. for the liquor license renewal of Richard McLaughlin, who operates Barking Dawg Market on 119 Skiway Road.
