Christmas at the Green fair planned

MEXICO — The annual Christmas at the Green fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Mexico Congregational Church UCC, the “Green Church,” at 163 Main St.

Coffee and muffins will be served in the dining room at 9 a.m., where tables will also be set up for raffles, baked goods, and sales of hand-crafted gifts. Items to be raffled include a hand-braided woolen rug, cash prize of $300, 50-50, and many more donated articles. RADA cutlery will also be offered for sale. The baked goods will include a cookie walk and cheddar cheese wheel.

Attic Treasures, books and puzzles will be set up in the Conference Room on the ground floor of the church. Luncheon will be served in the dining room from 11:30. The menu consists of chili, soup, hot dogs, sandwiches and apple crisp. Drawings for the raffles will be held at the end of the fair, and winners will be notified immediately.

Craft fair planned at Veterans Home

PARIS — The Maine Veterans Home Craft Fair is set for Saturday, Nov. 7, at 477 High Street.

Doors will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A refreshment table will be open.

Autumn craft fair set

LIVERMORE — The first annual Autumn Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Livermore Community Building, 25 Church St.

There will be handmade Christmas gifts, primitive décor, sewn and crocheted items, lighted win bottles, handmade lotions and lip balms, crafts, photography and more along with pies, breads, pumpkin rolls and deserts.

Wilton church hosting potluck

WILTON — The Wilton Congregational Church will hold a potluck supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.

Donations will be accepted for the meal. All proceeds from the supper will go toward repairing the church’s pipe organ.

Elmwood Cemetery Association to meet

OTISFIELD — The Annual Meeting of The Elmwood Cemetery Association will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the East Otisfield Baptist Church.

AMVETS dance planned

JAY — Shawna and the Mayberry Drifters will perform from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at AMVETS Post 33.

Legion Auxiliary to host craft fair

RUMFORD — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 24 will have a craft and food fair at the American Legion from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.

A bake sle will be available while breakfast and lunch will be served for a small charge. 

Crafters may rent tables. The cost for one table is $15 and two for $25. Baked goods may not be sold. Tables may be paid for by mailing to: American Legion, 184 Congress St., Rumford, ME 04276.
