WALES — Lakeside Chapter, No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Grange/Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.

The Chapter will honor Veterans Day and the U. S. Marine Corps members, including retired members and members with family affiliations.

Chapter members are asked to bring paper goods, food staples or a donation for distribution to the Food Bank, and members should bring their “Coupons for Troops.” 

Ladies officers are asked to wear colored gowns and gentlemen either tuxes or dark suits.

The light refreshments after the meeting will be provided by Rachel, Brett and Stan.

IHM Golden Age club to meet

AUBURN — The Immaculate Heart of Mary Golden Age Club will have its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

There will be a memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn for the deceased members.

A traditional Thanksgiving dinner will follow at the United Methodist Church on Park Avenue in Auburn.

The cost is $15 per person.

AUBURN — A silent auction benefiting the Alsheimer’s Association will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Rowe Auburn showroom, 699 Center St.
