NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE is offering a workshop for new and existing small business owners who wish to better understand the importance of good financial record keeping when preparing year-end tax reports. 

The no-cost workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St. A light lunch will be provided. 

The presenter, Lance Bean, is a well-known certified public accountant from Hoisington & Bean in Norway. He will provide information about tax reasons for choosing the right entity for a business, management decisions leading to sound bookkeeping and financial records, types of financial statement reporting needed for accurate tax reporting and the changes from 2014 to 2015 for state and federal tax regulations.
