1935 – 2015
AUBURN — Arlene L. Tierney, 80, of Oak Park, Lewiston, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 13, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.
She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 27, 1935, the daughter of William and Marie Verreault.
She was employed in various shoe shops and also worked as a bartender. Arlene was a longtime member of the Pastime Snowshoe Club and several other clubs and organizations. Very active and always on the go, Arlene enjoyed playing cards with friends and loved doing puzzles.
She is survived by five children, one brother, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Tierney, who she married on Sept. 24, 1960; and her grandchild.
