1948 – 2015

WAYNE — David W. Robinson, 67, of Wayne, died peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.

He was born in Dixfield, Feb. 13, 1948, the son of Herman and Doris (Strout) Robinson. David graduated from Dixfield High School in 1966 and went on to graduate from the building trades program at Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute in 1968. He worked as a carpenter, building homes for over forty years. He and his wife, Lillian (Jones) Robinson were married June 1, 2002.

David enjoyed fishing, gardening, camp in Jackman, making clocks and other wood projects and building rock walls. He was a true craftsman.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; his children, Jerry Robinson, Lucille Riley, Warren Robinson, Candice Law and her husband, Arron; stepchildren, Deborah Dickinson and Frederick Dickinson and his wife, Carol; his sisters, Juanita (Teta) Sprague and her husband, Chuck and Verna Pendexter; sister-in-law, Elaine Hackett and her companion, Roy Julian; grandchildren, Asa Nicholas, Parker Law and Camden Law; step-grandchildren, Jason and Brittany Gaudette, Drew, Ryan, and Bria Dickinson; step great-grandchildren, Skylar and Brayden Gaudette; several nieces and nephews and his best friend and companion, “Zoe”.
