FARMINGTON — Dale Hill, Shakespearean actor, journalist, scholar and collector, will present “All Our Yesterdays: 400 years of Shakespeare on stage,” an overview of the evolution of production values in the Bard’s plays over the centuries. The public is cordially invited to attend the free presentation at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in Room C23 in the Roberts Learning Center at UMF in Farmington.
Hill is widely known in the community as a newspaper columnist and performer, writing about the arts in Franklin County through the past 13 years, and acting in many local productions.
His talk is the first of a series hosted by the Shiretown Bookers (the community friends of Mantor Library). This group of collectors and booklovers provides exhibitions and presentations throughout the year toward the goal of fostering the relationship between the university and the community.
Roberts Learning Center, at 270 Main St., is the brick building nearest Abbott Park. Room C23 is just inside the right-hand front door.
