SABATTUS — Award-winning Maine author Mary Wisham Fenstermacher will display her full-color children’s books at Jillson’s 21st Annual Christmas on the Farm Holiday Event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at 143 Jordan Bridge Road.

Fenstermacher’s children’s books are about Pablo, a warm weather penguin, and his adventures as he travels across America. Accompanied by his fine-feathered friends, Franco Flamingo and Carmelita Cockatoo, excitement builds and a bit of suspense captures the travelers’ attention as they learn about different environments and animals that can be found in the U.S.

“The Pablo Adventure Series,” published by AuthorHouse, currently consists of three books: “Pablo Visits the Desert” (2010), “Pablo Visits the Ocean” (2011) and “Pablo Visits the Forest” (2014). The original purpose of these books was to let children (and adults, too) know that not all penguins live in Antarctica. In addition to this important fact, the reader will also get a close up view about different places, environments and animals found in the country.

She will also display her book of inspirational poems and devotions, “My Soul Doth Magnify the Lord” (2012) published by Westbow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson publisher.
