The Maine Department of Transportation is looking for public comment on the proposed roundabout it is planning to build at the intersection of Rte. 2 and Rangeley Road in Orono.
Representatives of the DOT will be at the town council chambers at the Orono town office on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. to listen to concerns, receive comments and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project. The DOT is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and learning concerns and issues. Anyone interested in the project is encouraged to attend this meeting.
Any inquiries regarding the project may be directed to the attention of Rhobe Moulton, Senior Project Manager, Maine Department of Transportation, Highway Program, 24 Child Street, 16 State House Station, Augusta ME 04333-0016, by phone at 207-624-3391, or by emailing rhobe.moulton@maine.gov.
