1965 – 2015

BRUNSWICK — Roger D. Bourgoin Jr., 50, of 59 Water St., died Monday, Nov. 16, at his residence.

He was born in Bath on Jan. 10, 1965, a son of Roger D. and Karen S. (Harmon) Bourgoin Sr. He attended Bath schools and in 1983 graduated from Morse High School, where he was very active in wrestling and won state championship wrestling in 1979. He attended the University of Maine in Presque Isle.

Roger continued his passion of wrestling by previously assisting with coaching and consulting at Morse up to this past season. Roger had many professions and worked at several local businesses. He was most recently employed at the Circle K now known as The Rusty Lantern.

He loved wrestling, painting, drawing, watching John Wayne movies, TV, archery and music. He was a Patriots and Red Sox fan as well as NASCAR.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Raquel Nichole Bourgoin of Michigan; his long-time fiancée, Susan Miller of Brunswick; his father, Roger D. Bourgoin Sr. of Lewiston; one sister, Rachel Torrey and her husband, Donald, of Lisbon; two brothers, Raymond Bourgoin and William Bourgoin and his wife, Lori, all of Brunswick; three nieces, Miranda Torrey, Bonnie Torrey and Christine Goth; his step-children, Angela Tanski, Michael Gagnon, Dustin Miller and Christopher Miller; step-grandchildren, Lilly, Scotty Krajewski; and his beloved cat, Snowball.

He was predeceased by his mother.
