PARIS — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church in South Paris will be having a Christmas concert featuring Pianist Phil House and Vocalist Kathy Haley at 2 p.m. Nov. 29.

House is the organist at the First Universalist Church in Auburn. He has recorded many CDs of his piano and organ music. Haley, who is from Danville, started performing early as a church organist, pianist and folk singer. Today she is one of the singers with the newly formed vocal band called “The Girls of LA.”

A donation of an unwrapped Christmas gift (toy) or a monetary donation will benefit the Economic Ministry serving families in need in the area. As part of the Ministry parents are able to pick out Christmas gifts for their children free of charge.

The church is located at the corner of Main and Church streets in Market Square in Paris.
