Grange hosting winter farmers market
FARMINGTON — Farmington Grange No. 12 will host the winter farmers market at the Grange Hall in West Farmington from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
For last minute holiday shopping, the market will be open Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Fifteen or more local producers will offer bread, meats, cheese, pies, cookies, vegetables, herbs, soaps and yarn. A special holiday market will be offered the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and Christmas, instead of the Saturday after.
The Grange Hall is located at 124 Bridge St.
Buttons 4 Babes meets today
JAY — Buttons 4 Babes volunteers meet at Otis Federal Credit Union every second and fourth Tuesday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the community room on the first floor.
The Button Bee creates bracelets to raise funds for children in critical need and for the local homeless shelter. Materials are available and new volunteers are welcome.

Library hosting adult craft night
NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library will host an evening of paper crafts for adults at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Those attending can make affordable decorations for the holidays with paper, re-use gift cards from last year and create bows with wrapping paper leftovers.
Participants will make a variety of items including paper ornaments, origami stars, 3D snowflakes/stars, tissue paper flowers, wrapping paper bows and gift tags. Participants are asked to bring scissors. All other supplies will be provided.
