JAY — Sandra L. Hebert, 74, of Jay, died peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at her home in Jay.
Sandra was born Feb. 24, 1941, a daughter of Lester and Katherine (McCourt) Cook. She attended local schools and graduated from Jay High School in the Class of 1959. On September 24, 1960, she married Frederick Hebert and together they raised three children, Kevin, Timothy and Beth. Sandra worked at Livermore Shoe Company for many years.
Sandra enjoyed reading, quilting and working in her flower gardens. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Sandra was known for her honesty, yummy baked goods and her talent as a seamstress. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially their trips to Florida and the different cruises they went on together.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frederick Hebert of Jay; children, Kevin Hebert and his wife, Debra, of Jay, Timothy Hebert and his wife, Pauline, of Peru, and Beth O’Donnell and her husband, Terry, of Jay; grandchildren, Benjamin Hebert, Lauren Hebert, Jenny Couture, Amanda Wing and her husband, Jason, Haleigh O’Donnell, Ian O’Donnell and Ethan O’Donnell; great-grandchildren, Reese Couture and Braylee Tracy, Valarie and Vanessa Wing; a sister, Leanne Turner of Jay; sisters-in-law, Anna Hebert, Rheanne Frost and her husband, Bernard, and Krystal LaBerge and her husband, Emile.
She was predeceased by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Elizabeth Hebert; stepfather, Stuart Record; brother-in-laws, William Turner, Richard Hebert, Bruce Hebert and Harold Hebert.
