First Auburn Seniors to meet
AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, for a regular meeting.
Members should bring a bag lunch. Bingo will be played after the meal.
At the last meeting, the Seniors had a Thanksgiving dinner at the Green Ladle and were entertained by Stephen the Great, a magician.
The 50/50 winners were Stan Harmon and Diane Vincent. A special Pot of Gold drawing was held. Winners were Lennice Gadbout, Ellie Rolerson, Pat Records, Donald Doyon, Diane Vincent, Bruce Macomber, Stan Harmon, Carmela Hewitt, Joyce Poole and Jeanne Doyon.
Blood drive planned at GAHS
LEWISTON — The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society will hold an American Red Cross from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
Appointments may be made by visiting redcrossblood.org and entering sponsor code “GA Humane.”
GAHS will offer donors coupon for fee-waived pet adoptions. The promotion will exclude puppies.
Public breakfast at Legion
AUBURN — A public breakfast will take place from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Alden M. Gayton American Legion Post 31, 426 Washington St. North.
Menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, hash, biscuit and gravy, toast, juice and coffee.
Cost is $5.

Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Nov. 23 were first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Anna Vitiello; second, first in B, Marta Clements and Dick Allen; third, second in B, first in C, Debra Gardner and David Offer; fourth, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman; second in C, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.
Winners on Nov. 24 were first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; second, Nancy Farmer and Patricia Quinn; tied for third and fourth, Paul Sherman and Mike True with Pat Garcia and David Lock.
Games are played Mondays and Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.
