1947 – 2015

LEWISTON — Christine Mae Johnson, 68, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 28.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1947, to parents Alban and Jeannette Theriault (Brin). Christine graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965 and St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1969. She practiced as a registered nurse until her retirement.

Some of her joys included cooking, Jeopardy, her grand-dogs and most of all, her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Jara Johnson of Rochester, N.Y., and Abby Chasse of Lewiston and her husband, Craig Bernosky; grandchildren, Silas and Brynn Chasse; son-in-law, Joshua Chasse; mother, Jeannette of Lewiston; sister, Gloria Perreault and her husband, Raymond, of Lewiston; brother, Michael Theriault and his partner, Bryce Libby, of Connecticut; niece, Andrea Lydon and her husband, John, along with their son, John Raymond; niece and godchild, Renee Perreault; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Kari Johnson; and her father, Alban Theriault.
