AUBURN — Temple Shalom will host its annual Chanukah party at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6, at Temple Shalom Synagogue Center at 74 Bradman St.
A catered dinner will include hot potato latkes — a delicious holiday tradition — plus Chanukah songs and dancing to the live music of Rabbi Sruli and Lisa.
The celebration includes a first-time-ever Chanukah comedy performance by Temple Shalom’s Hebrew School children and a special appearance by Auburn Police Chief Phil Crowell, who will light the synagogue’s giant outdoor Chanukah menorah. There will be special treats for all the children and Chanukah Bingo with prizes.
Suggested donations are $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Children under 16 can attend at no cost. Reservations are required.
