In recent letters to the editor, I have been raked over the coals by two very vocal liberals.
I seldom write a letter to the editor where I am not vilified afterward by liberals. I often get nasty phone calls after a letter to the editor. I have had to change my phone number several times to put a stop to that type of harassment.
It seems that members of the Democratic Party are not as tolerant as they would have people believe. They certainly do not tolerate me or my opinions. They often attack me personally, have called me many names, some unrepeatable.
I have never been offended by anything liberals have to say, unless it is personal. I have never called them to rant and rave about a letter they have written. I welcome the discourse, if it is civil.
Through the years, I have found some liberals to be nasty and hateful. Shame on them.
It would be a strange world if everyone held the same opinion. I believe people still have the right to voice their opinions — at least until the politically correct crowd decides differently.
