KINGFIELD — Copies of the Kingfield Bicentennial Calendar are available for $10, with proceeds supporting celebrations of the town’s 200th birthday in 2016.

The calendars are an illustrated thumbnail history of Kingfield since its incorporation in 1816 as Kingfield, Mass. Maine didn’t separate from Massachusetts until 1820.

Photographs include some “then and now” images of Kingfield bridges, hotels and inns. The schedule of events for 2016, committee members, participating organizations and donors as of November 2015 are listed.

“Their sale helps support our celebrations throughout the year,” committee member Sue Davis said.

Calendars may be purchased by contacting Davis at 207-491-2509 or susandavis228@gmail.com.
