First Auburn Seniors to meet
LEWISTON — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet for a Christmas dinner Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Green Ladle.
Those attending must have a ticket. The entertainment will be Maine-ly Harmony.
There were 40 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Lorraine Raymond and Joan Webb. Special baskets donated by Webb were won by Judy Holbrook and Virginia Trafford. Pot of Gold winners were Charlotte Dyer, Joyce Poole and Bruce Macomber. 50-50 winners were Dyer and Leroy Walker.
Bean supper is Dec. 21
NEW GLOUCESTER — AMVETS Post 6 will host a bean supper the third Saturday of the month from 5 to 6 p.m.
Cost of the meal is $7 for adults, $3 for kids younger than 12, and free for children younger than 6.
Lewiston Bridge Club results
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Monday, Dec. 7, were as follows: first, Jan and Vern Arey; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Anna Vitiello; third, Tom Goodwin and Larry Fortier; fourth, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; fifth, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; first in B and C, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; second Ellie and George Wigton.
Winners on Dec. 8 were: first, Paul Sherman and Mike True; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Mike Quinn; third, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; fourth, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; first in B, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; second, Claire Lyons and Anna Vitiello.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.
Christmas parties will be on Dec. 14 and 15.

Cribbage league lists winners
LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Dec. 10 were, first place, Leo Bergeron and Stan Tetenman; second, Cindy Boyd and Dick Saucier; third, Dick Laplante and Bob Oliver; fourth, Arline Laplante and Fran St.Pierre; and fifth place, Claudette Grandmaison.
The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
