1926 – 2015

ANDOVER — John H. Berg, 89 of Andover, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and an avid canoeist and outdoorsman, passed peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 16.

He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Reina Berg; his children, Eric Berg of Maine, Terry Berg Vallee of Florida, Patty Gustafson of Maine and Kurt Berg of Maine; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his brother, Kenneth Berg of Rhode Island.

He lived a life rich in experiences with a long history of community service involving the Boy Scouts of America and Emergency Medical Services while in Rhode Island and the Andover Education Fund while in Maine.

He is now at peace and ready to explore his love of nature for eternity. He will be missed by all.
