AUBURN — Moving ME Forward made donation to the Good Shepherd Food Bank to assist with the Backpack Program, which gives children backpacks with enough food for a weekend. 

Moving ME Forward is a nonprofit that creates and promotes wellness opportunities in the community. The funds in the donation were raised at the fourth annual Lake Auburn Half Marathon, which was held in September and is the largest fundraiser for the Moving ME Forward Foundation.

This is the fourth year that funds have gone toward reducing the food insecurities among the youth of Androscoggin County.
