I thank Sun Journal staff writer Kathryn Skelton for the article (Dec. 21) about Arnold McLean. I recognized him immediately from the great picture on page B2.
What a delight to read such an uplifting story so close to Christmas. The article caught the essence of the joy he brings to people. We love going into Walmart when McLean is on duty. He is always gracious, funny and sincere. There just are not enough happy words to describe him.
In the article, he talks about the customers making his day. His infectious laugh and great smile always make our day. You just can’t help being affected by him and you can’t walk by him without smiling.
Thanks again for the great article about a truly remarkable man.
