BRIDGTON — Bridgton Pediatrics has added Dr. Michael Vinograd to the practice, which is at Bridgton Hospital.

Vinograd comes to Maine from Brooklyn, N.Y., his hometown and residence since 2012. Prior to joining Bridgton Pediatrics, he spent the past three years completing his medical training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.

A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., Vinograd attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y., receiving a master’s degree in physiology. In 2012 he earned a medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George’s, the capital of the West Indian nation of Grenada.

Vinograd is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In conducting academic research, Vinograd has focused significantly on newborn and infant health and its connection to health care during pregnancy.

Vinograd is married and has a 4-month-old daughter, Evie.
