?Pickers to jam Jan. 12

AUBURN — The Park Avenue Pickers have scheduled an open jam session for all interested musicians at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the Auburn United Methodist Church at 439 Park Ave.

This is open to all levels of acoustic musicians from beginners to advanced.

Jammers should bring any type of music you want to play, such as bluegrass, gospel and blues, along with instruments and voices.

‘Bring a friend to bingo’

LEWISTON — Lewiston seniors will be allowed to bring a friend to the bingo games in January for the Lewiston Senior Bingo “Bring a Friend Bingo Day.”

Seniors will play on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. January Bingo Dates are Wednesday’s, Jan. 13 and 27.

Danville Grange to meet

DANVILLE — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14.

The program will be presented by Cpl. Kris Bouchard and canine partner of the Auburn Police Department.

All members and guests are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. Members are reminded to bring clipped coupons for troops.
