BATH —  The “Kill the Chill” winter concert series continues in the annex of the Chocolate Church Arts Center when Steve Watt performs on at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16.

Tickets are $10.  This series of shows is held in the Curtis Room of the church’s annex. Seats are limited to reinforce the connection between the performer and the audience in a house party type of atmosphere.

Watt is a guitarist and singer/songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. Bringing together old Celtic songs and American blues with contemporary songwriting to make a new sound for a new audience. Watt’s show starts with acoustic guitar music, featuring the songs of Robert Burns and other traditional Scottish songs alongside his own songs. Later on, it’s electric guitars when he is  joined by his band to close out the night.

The remainder of the series schedule includes The Colwell Brothers (blues) on Feb. 6; Tim Rice with Chris LeVancher (jazz/folk fusion) on Feb. 19; American folk of Hilton Park on March 5; musician Ted DeMille (bluegrass), March 12; and concludes March 19 with songstress Lauren Crosby & Golden Oak (folk).
