Daniel L. Maillet

1954 – 2016

LEWISTON — Daniel L. Maillet, 61, of Lewiston, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10.

Daniel was born in Lewiston on Oct. 27, 1954, beloved son of the late Laurier Maillet and Yvette LaChance Maillet of Stratford, Conn. He had been a Stratford, Conn., resident prior to moving back to Lewiston in 2000. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail. He also loved animals.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his siblings, Michael Maillet and his wife, Kathy, of Shelton, Conn., Arlene Townson and her husband, David, of Monroe, Conn., and Nancy Hwang and her husband, Nelson, of Guilford, Conn.; nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Benjamin, Sarah, Olivia and Matthew; and his aunt, Therese Maillet of Maine.
