LEWISTON — All five of Lewiston Adult Education’s academic classes are beginning soon.
To improve writing skills, students may take Critical Reading and Technical Writing. The class has a technical writing portion and will provide help in communicating effectively in a job. This course will begin Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Algebra I could help prepare for a college math course while Math Prep for College and Careers will focus on real-life situations. These courses begin Thursday, Jan. 28.
U.S. History and Contemporary Government can provide diploma credit and give perspectives on current events. These courses begin Wednesday, Jan. 27.
Those interested in enrolling must first meet with Academic Adviser Elayne Bean and provide her with a high school transcript. An assessment will help determine the best class to take.
