Three to 5 inches of snow is expected. About 11 a.m., the NWS reported 2.8 inches at its Gray office. It could mix with or change to sleet and freezing rain at times. This would result in reduced visibility and dangerous driving
conditions.

North winds are expected to reach 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 20s.

The city of Auburn has declared a parking ban starting at 9 p.m. Saturday and ending at 7 a.m. Sunday.

The winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. for Franklin and Oxford counties.
