Several five-year-old students from the Forestdale Christian School in Woodstock took their first ski lessons recently at Mt. Abram from instructors. The children visited three times during the  January. Their lessons, lift passes and rentals were funded by a grant from the Mt. Abram Ski Club, a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to snow sports education for children and youth in Western Maine.
