JAY — Spruce Mountain High School has announced its upcoming events for the week of Jan. 25-31.

Math meet

The Spruce Mountain Math Team will attend a math meet at Saint Dominic Academy on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Student of the Month assembly

There will be an assembly Friday, Jan. 29, to recognize the January Student of the Month, Phoenix Award winner and the Department Award winners.

Add/drop period

With the start of the second semester, the add/drop period for classes will take place the next two weeks. During this time, students can only make changes during they class they wish to change.

Athletic schedule

Tuesday, Jan. 26: Boys’ JV/V basketball at home vs. Mt. View, 5 p.m. JV/6:30 V.; girls’ JV/V basketball at Mt. View, 5 p.m. JV/6:30 V.

Wednesday, Jan. 27: Alpine ski meet at Titcomb Mountain at 3:30 p.m.; Nordic ski meet at Sugarloaf; boys’ and girls’ JV basketball at Mt. Blue, 5 p.m. girls’/6:30 boys’.

Thursday, Jan. 28: Boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball at home vs. Mt. Blue, 5 p.m. girls’/6:30 boys’.

Friday, Jan. 29, Alpine ski meet at Black Mountain, 4 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 30: Boys’ JV/V basketball at Wells, 5:30 p.m. JV/7 p.m. V.; girls’ JV/V basketball at home vs. Wells, JV 1 p.m./V. 2:30 p.m.; Nordic ski meet at Black Mountain Sassi 11 a.m.girls/1 p.m. boys.
