1961 – 2016

AUBURN — Nancy J. Catlin, 54, a resident of Oak Hill Road, Wales, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.

She was born in Lewiston on March 7, 1961, the daughter of George and Juliette (Cloutier) Polley.

Nancy attended Wales Central School and Oak Hill High School in Wales.

She married Lawrence S. Catlin on Oct. 10, 1981.

Nancy worked many different jobs: Security Heels, Vamir Shoes, and at several variety stores in the area. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed music and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, of Wales; three sons, Scott Catlin of Wales, Brandon Catlin of Litchfield and George Catlin of Wales; two daughters, Jennifer Petersen and her husband, Mike, of Litchfield, and Sonya Koss and her husband, Aaron, of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Mya, Damon and Julien; two brothers, Roger Polley of Clinton, and Billy Polley and his wife, Ann, of Winthrop; six sisters, Betty Brooks and Ronnie of Wales, Jane Edwards of Greene and Marie Larrabee and Mark of Litchfield, Doll Sirois of Bangor, Janet Sirois and Dennis of Wales, and Linda Polley of Wales; two uncles, Ralph Polley and Leroy Polley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Juliette Polley; and a brother, Thomas Polley.
