LIVERMORE FALLS — A local man was injured Friday morning in a collision at the intersection of Park and Maple streets, police Lt. Joseph Sage said.

Zachariah Corneau, 30, of Livermore Falls could not stop his 2004 Dodge Durango as it came down a steep grade on snowy Maple Street and it hit a 2003 Pontiac driven by Robert Mills, 50, of Livermore Falls, Sage said.

Mills’ car slid into a house at 97 Park St., he said. Mills suffered neck injuries and was taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, Sage said.

Corneau and his two passengers,  Macauley Simard, 7, and Ben Simard, 9, were not injured.

The house was not damaged in the 8:29 a.m. crash, Sage said. The vehicles were heavily damage.
