WATERFORD — A community potluck supper will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Wilkins House in Waterford Flat on Plummer Hill beside the church. 

Participants should bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share with new and old friends. Rolls and beverages will be provided.

The hosts will be the MacKinnons and the Butteralls. Everyone is invited.

NAMI FaithNet program at church

ANDOVER — NAMI FaithNet’s “Bridges of Hope” will be presented at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Congregational Church.

All are welcome to learn about NAMI and how to bridge the path between faith and mental health challenges. The program is free and there will be refreshments.

AllCare River Valley to meet

RUMFORD — River Valley Chapter, Maine AllCare will meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Rumford Public Library.

The group will view a new DVD, “Fix It,” about the broken American health care system and will discuss possibilities for showing it to other groups.

RUMFORD — The next class lunch for the Class of 1960 from Mexico High School will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Gatch’s Restaurant.

Baldacci fundraising spaghetti supper

JAY — A Baldacci fundraising spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Proceeds will support the Tri-Town Ministerial Fuel Fund.

The Baldacci family of Bangor will provide the food for the meal. Some of the family will help to serve the meal as well.

Students from Spruce Mountain High School and Jay Democrats will also be assisting. The Daughters of Isabella may be helping with desserts.

Cost of the meal is $10 for adults; $6 for children; free to those younger than 5. Proceeds will help qualified families pay for heating costs.

Boxberry to host Family WinterFest

HARRISON — The Boxberry School will host a February Family WinterFest from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.

It will be an opportunity for families interested in having their children attend the school learn more about it as well as for current families or families from other schools to have winter fun.

Conditions permitting, families may bring their own gear and take part in snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating and sledding.

Boxberry staff and families will be on hand to share s’mores and hot chocolate. It will be an end to February vacation and all are welcome. The cost is $5 a person or $20 a family.

Weary Club to meet for coffee

NORWAY — Members and friends of the Weary Club will meet for coffee at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, weather permitting. If there is a forecast for snow, coffee will be canceled.

American Legion hosting dance

PARIS — A dance will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 and 27, at American Legion Hall, 12 Church St.

Music will be provided by the Jones Dance Band.

Supper planned in East Wilton

WILTON — There will be a public Masonic supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall, 70 Bryant Road.

The menu will be baked ham, potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, assorted homemade pies and beverages. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12.
