LEWISTON — French Club, a Franco Center course for children ages 8 to 12, will be offered again in the Children’s Room of the Lewiston Public Library on eight consecutive Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m., beginning on Feb. 23.

Children with an interest in French will learn through immersion in games, songs and other fun activities in a relaxed setting. The Franco Center is able to provide the program free through a grant from the French American Cultural Exchange.

French Club is facilitated by Marie Emmons, a native of Nantes, France, who has lived and been involved in the Lewiston community for the past few years.

Participants can park for free in the Centreville Garage; parking validation is available at the Children’s Desk.

All library programs are free, but space in the French Club is limited, registration is encouraged.
