1944 – 2016

AUBURN — Edward W. St. Clair, 72, formerly of Lewiston, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

Edward was born on Jan. 20, 1944, in Lewiston, to parents Wilson and Cecile (Michaud) St. Clair. He was employed briefly in California for Pinkerton Security, and he also worked in local shoe shops. He became disabled in his 40s, following a work-related injury.

He was a past member of Androscoggin County Fish and Game and the NRA, and was an avid donator to the Humane Society of the United States. He enjoyed target shooting and fishing, and enjoying movies on his computer. Edward also loved caring for his animals. His favorite hobby was gardening, and he was known for his impressive tomato plants.

He is survived by his current wife, Priscilla (Cyr) St. Clair, who resides in Florida; son, Daniel St. Clair and his wife, Rachel; daughter, Diane and her husband, Daniel Crockett; brother, Normand St. Clair and his wife, Lucille; his five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Edward was predeceased by his parents; and his first wife, Doris St. Clair.
