FARMINGTON — Dr. Robert Chagrasulis has joined Franklin Health Surgery.
Before joining the practice, which is part of Franklin Memorial Hospital, Chagrasulis provided general surgery at Calais Regional Hospital in Calais for the past eight years. He has professional interests in trauma, surgical critical care and sports medicine.
Chagrasulis completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical intensive care, and a senior general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to that he completed his residency in general surgery at Maine Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.
A native of Maine, Chagrasulis has also done humanitarian work in the Dominican Republic.
Franklin Health Surgery is located on the second floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus.
