In view of the current times, everyone should evaluate the presidential candidates carefully.

What I look for in a candidate is one who is willing to enforce the laws of the United States and who will defend the United States with necessary force. I want a president who deals with terrorists severely.

I favor a candidate who operates a strict constitutional government protecting citizens’ rights; one who will seal the nation’s borders, defund sanctuary cities, deport illegal aliens and require temporary work permits to those not deported.

I want one who promotes constitutional amendments for a balanced budget, term limits and a line-item veto; one who is not afraid to say “no” to overspending and tax increases.

I favor a candidate who leaves education to each state with no federal interference; and who supports English as the official language for government records and documents.

I support one who is not in favor of government being totally in charge of health care, but uses government to render care to those who are unable to care for themselves.

Other desirable qualities include a person who promotes jobs and freedom of opportunity and has respect for religious values.

I want an honest person and a patriot.
