Author to talk on first novel

CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Maine author William Goodspeed will hold a book talk and signing at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Carrabassett Valley Public Library Begin Family Community Room.

His first novel, “Buzz Kill,” is an uproariously twisted tale of America’s baffling corporate culture that will appeal to anyone who’s worked in a large company. Witnessing many odd and humorous moments in corporate bureaucracy and human resources for more than 20 years, Goodspeed learned the power of
creativity and fun in the workplace.

In his novel, Goodspeed tells an unorthodox, yet uproariously hysterical tale of America’s not-so-corporate culture.

Goodspeed held several senior executive positions in various companies. While working for large companies, he kept his passion of observing behavior. He currently lives in Maine and Michigan with his wife, Jen.
