HUDSON, Fla. —
of Hudson, Fla., originally Dixfield, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 21. Mrs. Charity is the former Mary Miller. The couple was married at the Congregational parsonage in Dixfield.
Both are alumni of Dixfield Senior High School. Mr. Charity graduated in 1952 and Mrs. Charity graduated in 1954, both as valedictorian of their class.
After 22 years in the Air Force and 18 years with BDM International, the couple retired to Florida in 1992. In attendance at the celebration were the couple’s five children: Wayne Charity of Catharpin, Va., Brian Charity of Shawnee, Kansas, Norman Charity of Lansing, Kansas, Lisa Hale of Aripeka, Fla. and Carol Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas. The couple also has 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
