We are looking for individuals, neighborhoods and nonprofit groups to participate. There is also space available for artists, crafters, home-based vendors, businesses, florists, or anyone with a product to sell.

?By joining in on the Community Indoor Sale, you can eliminate any worries about rain, advertising, permits, parking or space. We will take care of all of that. You just have to register for a booth, bring your wares and reap the benefits of being part of this community-wide event.

For additional details or to reserve your space, please contact Cathy at [email protected], call 784-5411 or download a printable application at http://flea.sunmediagroup.net/. You can ?also visit any Sun Journal office to pick up your vendor application.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: We are very grateful for your help in promoting our annual fundraiser. Catholic Financial Life Chapter N413 (formerly l’Union Saint-jean-Baptiste) is inviting area residents to join them in our annual family bottle drive to benefit Hope Village in Haiti.

FreeTheKids.org is a nonprofit organization. Project Hope (Pwoje Espwa) takes care of over 800 orphans, providing shelter, medical care, education and a soup kitchen. Donations are down, so your help is desperately needed. Read more at freethekids.org.

With the help of area donors, our chapter is hoping to raise enough money to receive matching funds from Catholic Financial Life. Last year, our joint efforts brought in $9,700. We need your continued support. Please save your bottles from May 1 to May 31. Kindly redeem your bottles and send us a check by June 5. Cash donations are also very much appreciated.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Recently my husband and I went to the Chickadee of Lewiston with our daughter to celebrate our 50-year wedding anniversary. After enjoying our meal, and to our surprise, our waitress advised us that our bill was all taken care of. Thank you to whoever paid this for us. This is another great example of the kind people in our community. Respectfully, a Lewiston-Auburn resident.

ANSWER: Thank you for sharing your nice story. With all of the negativity we hear about on a daily basis, it’s nice to hear about the good people in the world. Sun Spots encourages you to find a way to pay the kindness forward.
