AUBURN — The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, at the Park Avenue Methodist Church. The speaker will be Anita Poulin, who said she is a proud Franco-American who was born into a family of self-taught artists.

Poulin has lived in Maine all her life and loves everything about Maine. Her art work and photography are influenced by the natural beauty of the state.

Poulin is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the Auburn Maine School of Commerce. She was a graphic artist for 15 years for the Sun Journal and is now the owner of AP Graphics and Fine Arts.

She has received numerous awards for her art, including a purchase prize award from the Portland Sidewalk Art Show and purchase prize award for three years from the Androscoggin Valley Art Association Sidewalk Art Show.

Hostess chairwoman for the meeting is Judith Johnson, who will be assisted by Lorraine Desjardin, Marjorie Hansen, Grace Keene, Barbara Mitchell and Elaine Sylvester.
