FARMINGTON — There will be a public auction on Friday, March 11, at the W.G. Mallet School, 116 Middle St.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m., live auction starts at 6 p.m.
Among the items up for auction are books, local art, prints and photos, baked goods, hay and baleage, potatoes, overnight stays, carved or created items, heating oil, hardwood blocks, all natural Angus beef and certificates for meat packages.
There are over 100 items for bid. Those interested may stop by the office any time before noon on March 11 to pick up a complete auction item list and/or to receive a bid number for a chance for the early registration prize drawing.
All proceeds help sponsor environmental and agricultural education programs including Agriculture Day at the Farmington Fair and the Envirothon.
