BRUNSWICK — SaviLinx, a contact center specializing in technical support services and business processing for other companies, announced today that it will add 200 new jobs to support a large contract extending SaviLinx’s work for an insurance services provider.

On its website, the company stated: “These customer service and quality assurance positions will be in addition to the 100 contact center agents and staff at the company’s Maine headquarters and the 200 located in its Hattiesburg, MS, locations. The hires are needed to support a large contract that extends SaviLinx’s scope of work for an insurance services provider, including quality monitoring and inbound phone inquiries.”

Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) called the announcement “another step forward in redevelopment of former naval air station.”

“These 200 new jobs are great news for the Midcoast region and great news for the Maine economy,” said King in a statement announcing the hirings. “The hard work of the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority and everyone at Brunswick Landing continues to pay off as more and more businesses plant roots and grow here in the area. SaviLinx is an important part of that redevelopment effort, and I thank them for their continued investment and trust in the hardworking people of Maine.”

That work will include quality monitoring and inbound phone inquiries, according to King. SaviLinx chose to locate its headquarters at Brunswick Landing in part because of the access to a secure technological infrastructure and talented pool of local workers.

“We are delighted that our client has achieved measurable ROI from our team’s customer service and business process outsourcing solutions, and has chosen to expand their work with SaviLinx,” said Heather Blease, founder and CEO of SaviLinx. “Our focus on developing long-term partnerships to manage complex customer service interactions is a great fit for this client, and we look forward to growing our exceptional team.”

The start date for new positions at SaviLinx is in May.
