RANGELEY — On Saturday, March 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the RFA Lakeside Theater, there is an open audition call for singers / actors who want to be involved in the Rangeley Friends of the Arts’ first live community theater performance of the 2016 season: “Why Do Fools Fall In Love?”
This small-cast musical comprises four women of marriageable age in the 1950s. They sing and dance their way through popular songs of the era to tell a story of love, marriage, and the overwhelming dating game.
For the audition, be prepared to learn a new song and sing it, learn a short dance and perform it, and read from a variety of scenes.
Also needed are stage hands, scene painters, prop makers, sound and lighting techs.
The show is scheduled for production on June 30, July 1, 2 and 4.
