LEWISTON — “Bring your friends and join for the most fun you’ve had since high school … maybe the most fun you’ve ever had,” said Mitch Thomas, who is issuing and invitation to enjoy a fun night at L/A’s Gendron Franco Center at the “Adult Prom… just like high school… only better” on Friday, April 8 at 7 p.m. The party goes until 11:30 p.m.
The principal of the fictitious L/A High School will be the host for the evening of fun. A message from the principal: “We’re all adults here, and you can do anything you want at Prom. However, there are rules! Get dressed up and be prepared for a prom night celebration loaded with lots of laughter, food, music from across the decades, the ‘prom punch’ you always dreamed of, chaperons, and many more surprises!”
The evening’s program will also include the coronation of the Prom King and Queen, cheerleaders, a photo booth, and more.
The doors and bar open for at 7 p.m. A buffet dinner prepared by the Franco Center staff will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. After that, guests will dance to tunes from across second half of the 20th century from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Attendees may call Ann’s at (207) 782.3457 to order corsages and boutonnieres, and have them held at will-call for the event. Community Little Theatre at 30 Academy Street in Auburn will open its costume shop for one more rent-or-buy day (dresses and tuxes from every time period) on Saturday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ticket price of $35 includes dinner, dance, entertainment and other surprises.
