1968 – 2016

LIVERMORE FALLS — Ronald J. Davis, 47, of Livermore Falls passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home on Wednesday, March 23.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 20, 1968, a son of Joseph and Nancy (O’Leary) Davis. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army. After his time in the army, he worked in various industries, working over 10 years for Isaacson Lumber. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including farming, hunting, fishing and competitive skiing. He finished first in the middle school 20m jumping.

Ronald came from a very devout Catholic family, which he loved very much. His time spent with his children, nieces and nephews was very special to him. They just naturally gravitated to him due to his very simplistic and easygoing nature. Spending time at Tripp Lake, tinkering with cars and engines of all sorts and generally fixing anything that came his way, gave him great satisfaction in being able to help others in this way. He was very restless and unable to just sit around and was always willing to help others due to his very kind-hearted spirit.

Ronald is survived by his three children, Erika Hiscock of Minot, Ronald “RJ” Davis II of Livermore Falls and Veronica Davis of Livermore Falls; his parents, Joseph and Nancy Davis of South Paris; his sisters, Cindy Davis Poulin of Lewiston, Laura Davis Koch of Rumford and Holly Davis of Wiscasset; four grandchildren, Madilyn Dow, Chandler Hiscock, Ethan Hiscock and Damion Welch; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, W. Owen Davis and wife, Christine, Joseph O’Leary and wife, Lucy; and many aunts and uncles.

You are invited to join us in remembering Ronald by visiting our memorial at www.thefortingroupauburn.com to share your thoughts and fond memories with the Davis family.
